About ChuckFacebook Bar
Internet Marketer, mainly focused on Affiliate Marketing, since the late 90s. Started on the web in late 1993. For the first 4 or 5 years it was a learning curve and waiting for the net to get faster and more occupied. By the end of the 90s, I was an affiliate marketer of eBay and Amazon, and several other affiliate networks.
In 1993, started a Direct Marketing company that was based on affiliate marketing. With 2,500 radio stations throughout the U.S. and Canada as affiliates, we sold music CD’s to the people they promoted to in their markets. Their sales were tracked with a combination of toll-800 numbers and the Internet, which was very slow, but it worked. Making Chuck one of the very first affiliate marketing experts.
After retirement from broadcasting (see below), I got serious about online affiliate marketing and built and operated in excess of 300 affiliate websites. All of those were sold in 2015/16, and I am rebuilding affiliate sites focused on a much smaller group of affiliate programs such as Amazon, eBay, Adorama, Sell Health and others. I am building and maintaining more authority sites, rather than sales sites. Although these authority sites are product based.
I also teach/mentor new affiliate marketers both online and off.
In addition, I am a video producer/editor, focused on finding and using video to enhance organic search for both myself, students and business clients. I consider my video work a necessary extension of my affiliate marketing activities. You will often find that I mention VIDEOCASTING STUDIOS when talking about videos. I own that business, and it is really just a part of my overall affiliate marketing business.
Retired radio broadcast executive. CEO, President, GM, Program and Promotion Director. Began as a rock ‘n’ roll disc-jockey in the late 50s and played the hits until the early 70’s when I transitioned to management. Worked mostly in Canada, coast-to-coast, with a period in California in the 60s and as CEO/President of one of America’s great pop/rock stations, CKLW in Detroit in the 70’s. Much of my off-air career was in Toronto as VP Rogers Broadcasting and Manager/Program Director of CFTR. Later built JAZZ-FM Toronto as CEO/President, Canada’s only jazz focused radio station, located in Toronto. Retired officially in 2007 after a 50 year career in broadcasting.
